LADYICE
ChiChina Smith aka LadyIce born in Harlem NY has been doing music since the age of 10 years old. From grade school at Washington Academy of Music, Junior High School at Vernon L. Davey majoring in music and High School both at Arts High in Newark NJ and James Monroe High School in Bronx New York also Majoring in Music and Music Theater. It was here in the Bronx where she finally came into her own as a entertainer, writer, and professional artist. Under the guidance of Thomas Porton who first saw her star quality, she was introduced into various performing arts groups throughout NYC such as City Kids and becoming a featured headline Artist at shows for City College Performing Arts programs.
At the age of 18, she went on to compete and win 5 times at The World Famous Apollo Theater which lead her to meeting Teddy Riley who wanted to sign her as an Artist. From there Chichina had an extensive run singing and performing as a background artist for many people such as Be Be and Ce Ce Winans, Faith Evans and many others.
In 1997, she became an original member of Rev. Stefanie Minatee and Jubilation Choir from Newark NJ where she is now an Alumni Choir member.
Lady Ice started out as a R&B Artist in 1990 with Stone at another independant underground label and moved on to become an excellent Lyricist, Arranger,Producer and Recording Engineer. Her assistance and development with Stone grew extremely immpeccaple allowing her to become Co-Founder of what is now know as Stone's House Entertainment. In 2018 she began working as the Personal Assistant to CEO Unique Mecca Audio and Mecca Audio Entertainment, while still scouting new talent and handling bookings for the labels Artist and maintaining 50% of Executive control along with Unique Mecca Hall over the label. At the present time she has added Mixing and Management to her crudentials and Her Catering Company RuLon's "Halal International". Catering is a subsidiary of Stone's House providing Catering and Event Services for Artist and outside event Party Planning.
